Your tasks
For our Automotive Sector, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Operations Counsel (m/f/diverse) with a qualification as fully qualified lawyer to join our Legal Operations team. This role is crucial in establishing and maintaining comprehensive worldwide applicable legal standards, policies and processes that align with internal and external rules and regulations. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining legal frameworks, driving strategic legal initiatives, and managing cross-functional legal projects. Your tasks will include the following activities:
• Standardization of legal counselling and legal advice on a global scale
• Standardization of purchasing and sales terms and conditions together with regional teams and other relevant stakeholders
• Project management lead (including project planning, execution, implementation, and trainings)
• Responsibility for legal tech tools (including analysis and recommendation of legal technology needs and solutions)
• Leading strategic legal initiatives
• Communication and cross-functional collaboration with (Senior) Management
• Developing and conducting workshops and training sessions in English
Your profile
• Academic degree in law, preferable a fully qualified lawyer
• Long-term experience in commercial law, preferably within an international environment
• Strong knowledge of commercial law and international business law
• Superior contract drafting and negotiation abilities, preferably with strong experiences in an international environment
• Capability to standardize purchasing and sales terms, and conditions
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop practical solutions
• Strong project management skills (including functional leadership experience)
• Affinity to legal tech tools
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. German is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Structured and analytical thinking
