Software Engineer

• Design, implement and test software  for the real time core microcontroller in Telematics products
• Assist integrators to improve and maintain the Continuous Integration environment
• Work with AUTOSAR SW configurations, design and implementation of complex device drivers and debug across the AUTOSAR layers/components
• Participate in sprint/PI planning, SCRUM, and continuous improvement tasks
• Adhere to Continental's SW development process and follow A-SPICE  quality practices
• Support on-site troubleshooting activities with our customers

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in: Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Good C/C++ development or similar programming language
• Good understanding of microcontrollers architecture
• Familiarity with UART, I2C, SPI or other embedded serial communication protocols
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics
• Usage of oscilloscopes, multimeter and power supplies
• Willingness to travel (<10% of the time. Local and international)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience or internships with automotive development products
• Basic knowledge sending and receiving CAN/LIN/Diagnostics messages
• Programming in a Linux environment
• Scripting (bash, python or similar)
• Git
• Assembly programming
