Project Planning and Execution
- Define clear project goals, objectives, and scope in alignment with business and IT strategies.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, budget, and risk management strategies.
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring smooth coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day project execution, ensuring milestones are met, issues are resolved promptly, and deliverables align with quality standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with both internal stakeholders (IT teams, procurement, legal, business units) and external providers to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
- Conduct regular status updates and meetings with stakeholders to provide progress reports, highlight risks, and manage expectations.
- Ensure effective communication channels between all parties involved, maintaining transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk and Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and challenges in the project, developing mitigation plans and strategies to address them.
- Proactively monitor and resolve issues, escalating them when necessary to ensure that the project remains on track.
- Ensure that all projects are compliant with company policies, standards, and regulations, particularly regarding vendor contracts and security protocols.
Financial and Resource Management
- Manage resource allocation, ensuring that the right people and technologies are available for successful project delivery.
- Ensure that vendor performance is tracked, ensuring that external providers meet contractual obligations and project requirements.
Project Closure and Evaluation
- Complete project evaluations, including post-project reviews, to assess performance, challenges, and successes.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and project teams, generating insights that inform future project management practices.
- Ensure proper handover of deliverables, documents, and knowledge transfer for long-term sustainability of project outcomes.
Good to know: Our IT hubs are located in Germany (Hanover), Romania (Timişoara) and Portugal (Porto) and you will have the opportunity to work in one of the a.m. legal entities.
Your profile
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Preferred Certifications: Certified Supplier Relationship Manager (CSRM), ITIL Foundation, Certified Contract Manager (CCM)
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on managing IT projects and collaborating with external service providers.
- Led IT projects involving external providers, including cloud services, software development, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Managed cross-functional project teams, coordinating between IT, procurement, legal, and business units.
- Successfully executed projects within budget and scope, delivering value by aligning services with business needs.
- Experience with vendor selection, contract negotiation, and managing ongoing vendor relationships as part of IT project delivery.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including business, IT, legal, and external service providers, to ensure project success.
- Strong communication skills, enabling the management of stakeholder expectations, negotiation with vendors, and conflict resolution across diverse teams.
- Ability to work with senior management and external vendors to drive strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between business goals and project outcomes.
- Experience in leading multi-departmental projects, with a focus on stakeholder alignment, risk management, and resource optimization.
- Fluent in English, another language helpful
- Exposure to international work content in previous roles
