Head of Manufacturing Engineering and Facility Management

Your tasks

The mission of the position is to plan, coordinate, and control all manufacturing engineering activities and facility management  to meet budget, production, and facility management targets (e.g., maximize production equipment availability and utilization, ensure utilities and media availability, reduce waste such as scrap and lead time, manage facility costs). Additionally, the position is responsible for identifying, planning, and justifying capital investments to support BA strategy, growth, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. Furthermore, the Head of Manufacturing Engineering and Facility Management initiates and implements action plans for the continuous improvement of all processes relevant to facility management and manufacturing engineering.

Your profile

▪ Bachelor degree, preferably in mechanical , industrial  engineering or related discipline.

▪ 5 or more years of professional experience in manufacturing, preferable in two functional areas, e.g. IE, quality, operations, etc.
▪ cross functional experience e.g. in maintenance, quality, supply chain or CBS preferred

▪ Comprehensive experience in rubber and plastic production processes
▪ Experience in the roll-out of standards and/or strategic projects

▪ 10 or more years in a leadership position, preferably within an operational, technical team with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals.

▪ Experience in working with international teams on manufacturing topics and understanding of foreign cultures
▪ proficient in minimum 2 languages, English business level is mandatory
