Sequencing Planner - Motorcycle Plant

Your tasks

  • Ensure the efficient usage of production equipment and manning in the production area of responsibility.
  • Ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls
  • Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties
  • Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust production sequencing schedules based on customer demand, material availability, and production capacity.
  • Coordinate closely with production, warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor daily production progress and respond to changes or disruptions by rescheduling sequences as needed.
  • Ensure sequencing plans align with delivery windows and minimize line downtime or bottlenecks.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices related to production planning.

  • Oversee sequencing KPIs, including ETO and SOP (Start of Production) plans and daily ticket monitoring, and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  • Work closely with shift leaders to collect insights and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Conduct weekly production meetings to optimize production planning and execution.
  • Planned and managed the availability of materials and components essential for radial tire production.
  • Sequencing of production in tire manufacture for curing, green tire assembly, component, required sub-components and compound for plant production areas to achieve optimal production output and size achievement as per the agreed plan with plant operations.
  • Controlling the phase-in and phase-out processes in all areas of tire production.
  • Regular monitoring with-in the shift of order achievement for all responsible production processes to SAP PP and initiate and communicate the required corrective actions  and changes to the order sequence to Production processes to minimize/avoid production losses. Regular reporting of current status.  Ensures that ETO orders are scheduled according to R&D demands 
  • Determines phase out date of a tire.
  • Control and coordinates phase out process.
  • Analyze daily the fulfillment of size achievement KPI and take corrective actions were needed.
  • Work on assigned Projects.

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree in Production Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Experience in Tire Manufacturing industry knowledge is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in production planning, sequencing, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
  • Has knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent).
  • Experience with JIT/JIS manufacturing systems is a strong advantage.
  • Theoretical knowledge of manufacturing, industrial engineering, process engineering or similar
  • Experience in production processes and or sequencing function, production or logistics related functions.
  • Expert in Analytical and planning skills.
  • Experience in problem solving skills and tools.
  • Networking and interactions skills with fellow sequencers in other plants.
  • Communicating effectively and working under time pressure.
  • Good command in English.
