Your tasks

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Performs month end BU close process, which involves:

  • Prepare and review results in Fire from the Markets
  • Prepare Marketing performance report in Markis, CMC bridge check and Volume/Price/Mix effects
  • Calculate the Inventory Valuation based on ICO PET
  • Analyze and prepare schedules to simulate the final ytd Profit and Loss statement monthly
  • Determine monthly corrections for P&L and Working Capital in Fire
  • Send FC packages to Division (R&Os, Sales/ Ebit by quarter etc.)
  • Prepare and implement monthly BU corrections in Kompas
  • Update the monthly Markis and Kompas Dashboard for Management
  • Analyze monthly results for Management
  • Prepare of the bi-monthly presentation for CEO, includes chart preparation, consolidate for presentation to upper management. 

In addtion:

  • Prepares the weekly estimate in coordination with the Market controllers, as well has the month end Trend, and subsequently the Month vs Trend analysis.
  • Complete BU Budget in Fire, both total year and seasonalized. Prepare Net Sales and CMC bridges and P&L simulation file. Determine FIRE Central Corrections.
  • Prepare, analyze and reports on miscellaneous reporting to division, within the BU to the markets as required.
  • Assigned to be the key BU controlling contact for specific markets/ product groups and support resource This includes collaborating on a couple of key projects with assigned markets each year.
  • Support 5 Year BU Strategy by Market Consolidated with Various Assumptions completed Bi-yearly

Your profile

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE 

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related
  • 2-5+ years overall experience in an Accounting / Finance function
  • High level of proficiency of MS Office tools (power pivots, excel, ppt, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication & presentation skills
  • A relocation package can be offered
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is only able to offer visa support for internals individuals who currently hold an existing valid employment visa.

 

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT 

  • CPA and/or MBA Degree
  • Experience in FP&A or Business Controlling
  • Exposure to IFRS Accounting and Financial Reporting
  • SAP experience
  • Large international company experience supporting a large budget
  • 5-7+ years overall experience in an Accounting / Finance function
