Our Digital Solutions IT team is searching for a talented Test Manager to lead and elevate the testing landscape across our ContiConnect product.

As a Test Manager, you will shape and drive our overall test strategy, ensuring smooth, high-quality releases throughout the entire software development lifecycle. You’ll coordinate cross-functional testing efforts, oversee test planning and execution, and guide teams in adopting best practices that raise the bar for quality across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Improve and maintain the overall Test Strategy to be applied based on the best practices and initiative specifies, especially the related Release Plan;
  • Document, implement, monitor and enforce all processes for testing as per the defined standards;
  • Mobilize and manage identified stakeholders for all the execution of integrated testing activities;
  • Management of the software development lifecycle working closely with design, product managers, and development teams;
  • Ensure product meets clients specifications within defined deadlines and quality standards;
  • Coordinate and perform manual and/or automated tests to validate product functionality, performance, and quality;
  • Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts;
  • Oversee the defect management process, ensuring proper identification, documentation, prioritization, and follow-up with development teams;
  • Manage the end-to-end testing effort, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope;
  • Supervise test environments, test data preparation, testing tools, and the implementation of test automation;
  • Collaborate closely with architecture, development teams, product managers and central key users to plan testing phases and align expectations;
  • Act as the primary escalation point for all matters related to testing activities;
  • Lead and mentor development teams to quality best practices;
  • Provide regular reports on QA activities, metrics, and project status to senior management.

Your profile

  • +3 years of experience in software testing;
  • Solid background in manual and/or automated testing, system testing, integration testing and/or UAT;
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to understand complex business and technical environments;
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with proven experience supporting cross-functional teams;
  • Excellent organization skills, efficient management of time and activities;
  • Experience working in agile and Scrum environment with remote teams and stakeholders;
  • Ability to quick learning a new product, and be able to think outside the box and recommend solutions;
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence;
  • Knowledge of a test management tool (e.g. X-Ray, Zephyr, Test Rail…);
  • Knowledges of test automation frameworks as Cypress or Playwright;
  • Knowledge of development languages such as Java, JavaScript is a plus;
  • ISTQB certification is a plus;
  • Fluent in English language.
