PFMEA Moderator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical PFMEA Moderator to join our team in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. As a PFMEA Moderator, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential failure modes in our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and reliability.

• Lead and facilitate Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) sessions with cross-functional teams
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify potential failure modes and their effects on product quality
• Develop and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Conduct statistical analysis to prioritize and address high-risk areas
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to implement preventive actions
• Maintain and update PFMEA documentation and databases
• Train team members on PFMEA methodologies and best practices
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations relevant to PFMEA and quality management

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Industrial, or related field
• Intermediate English
• Experience: 
  • Leading PFMEA sessions and workshops
  • In manufacturing process and quality management systems
  • PFMEA software tools (desirable)
  • Project management
  • Problem solving
• Knowledge: 
  • Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) methodologies
  • Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Statistical analysis and data interpretation
  • Six Sigma certification -Green Belt or higher (desirable)
  • Automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949) is a plus
