Your tasks

In the Budapest Artificial Intelligence Development Centre of Continental, Autonomous Mobility, we create next generation automotive software solutions which make automated driving safe and affordable. We work towards Vision Zero, a goal to eliminate fatal accidents happening every day on the world’s roads. We are looking for creative minds who are passionate to shape the future of automated driving by delivering world-class perception and fusion systems. 
 
Our teams develop software solutions for automated parking and safety systems, processing various automotive sensor data and providing a robust, scalable output to driving function modules.

Your Tasks 

  • Implementation of a scalable, maintainable, cross-platform capable embedded software solution  

  • Deployment of trained neural networks into embedded environment  

  • Implementation and optimization of neural network post-processing algorithms for multiple hardware platforms  

  • Software documentation and verification by means of black-box and white-box testing  

  • Collaboration with our international development teams  

  • Transformation of customer and project requirements into deep learning component designs.

Your Profile

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in C++ development and unit testing 
  • Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments 

  • Proven experience in performance optimization for embedded systems 

  • Practical background in designing and implementing scalable software architectures 

  • Passionate about and experienced with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban 

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

  • Experience with linear algebra computing (matrices, tensors) 

  • ARM knowledge 

  • Unit testing and testing frameworks 

  • Willingness to travel

  • Familiar with the following technology stack: 

    • Docker, CMake, Jenkins (user-level) 

    • Eigen, Python, Git, GitHub, Jira, Agile, Confluence 

    • GTest, Doxygen, PlantUML.

  • University degree (BSc, MSc, PhD) in a technical area: Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related
  • Experience working according to SAFe (scaled agile framework)
  • Good programming skills in C++
  • Good command of the English language
  • Collaborative, open-minded, team player attitude.
