Strategic Supplier Development Specialist - Purchasing

Your tasks

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers or existing suppliers with different processes or technologies on a regional basis.
  • Target suppliers  that can be nominated for new business (VDA6.1 P1 potential analysis without major risk ).
  • Ensure alignment with the strategic needs of global cluster management, mitigates supply chain risks, and support advanced purchasing in upcoming projects.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders (AE, R&D) to drive innovation, ensure compliance with responsible sourcing practices, and contribute to long-term sustainability goals.
  • Responsible for optimizing the strategic supplier list for improved efficiency and resilience.

Your profile

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2+ years  of professional experience in Automotive within the areas of R&D/Quality/Process Development/Purchasing
  • Experience with Project and/or Process management
  • Familiar with Audits in Automotive Industry with IATF 16949 & VDA 6.3 certificate
  • Intercultural / International Experience

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

  • 5+ years  of professional experience in Automotive within the areas of R&D/Quality/Process Development/Purchasing
  • Advanced knowledge about supplier processes
