Head of Finance & Controlling (Korea CFO)

Your tasks

  • Responsible for the functions Finance, Controlling & IT in Automotive Korea.
  • Strengthen financial resilience of Automotive Korea by improving cash flow, optimize capital, and managing risks
  • Drive profitable growth of Automotive Korea by assisting CEO on all matters relevant to tax, accounting, business controlling, plant controlling and IT
  • Supervise several team leads directly, including Financial Service Center Korea (FSCK), Country IT while functionally leading the Plant Controlling (Sejong Plant).
  • Organize and provide ordinary financial statements according to IFRS standards and local tax requirements
  • Coordinate the year end closing process with external auditors, provide annual local business reports and annual tax statements.
  • Initiate and implement procedures and policies in accordance with the law and Continental Group policies
  • Ensure high performance culture while adhering to the Continental values with highest level of integrity and transparency

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent degree
  • Strong financial, controlling and accounting background, including exceptional command and willingness to drive for commercial excellence, balance sheet and cash flow management, general finance and budgeting
  • Experience with budget management, public accounting, treasury and cash flow management
  • Experience in Automotive industry preferred
  • Excellent English in speaking and writing, German is a plus
  • Superb intercultural awareness
  • Strong desire to succeed as leader with servant leadership managing a large and complex team
