Environmental and Sustainability Specialist
Your tasks
- To ensure the implementation of the requirements of legal acts regulating environmental protection;
- To ensure compliance with pollution permits;
- To initiate the approval process with authorities for all matters requiring permits;
- To keep records of chemical substances and mixtures;
- To prepare and submit to authorities environmental-related reports in a timely manner;
- To ensure that waste management and packaging accounting processes/rules are implemented according to requirements;
- To ensure correct and full control of GPAIS system;
- To develop and communicate methods of raising employee awareness with the aim of sensitizing employees to the prevention of environmental damage;
- To represent the company during environmental inspections;
- To advise plant and company management on all aspects of environmental protection;
- To maintain an EMS in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and internal standards;
- Implementation of KPI methodology and Plant Scorecard Tool in the plant. Perform regular KPI - Reviews with BU's and Group Sector.
Your profile
- A higher education in the field of environmental management or a relevant area;
- At least 2 years of work experience in the field of environmental protection;
- Experience with AIVIKS, GPAIS, ATVR;
- Knowledge of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Lithuania and can apply them in work activities;
- Health and safety specialist certificate is an advantage;
- Fluent in Lithuanian language;
- Good English skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
