IAM1 Maintenance Team leader

Your tasks

▪ Manage and coordinate the maintenance function for machines and tooling of the plant/operations unit
▪ Translate plant/operations unit’s according with the maintenance strategy into action plans and ensure implementation
▪ Contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit (e.g. with respect to investments, capacity and headcount planning)
▪ Ensure the achievement of maintenance targets according to internal and external customer expectations
▪ Evaluate the performance of the maintenance department according with the targets in order to deploy actions plans related to the improvements & Savings in his area.
▪ Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities by applying CBS methods and training measures 
▪ Interface to segment, BU or BA functions in order to gather local maintenance requirements (e.g. ESH and ergonomics, corporative machine standards) and demands and other feedback 
▪ Participate in and/or steer global or local maintenance related and cross-functional projects
▪ Conduct employee dialogues, personnel development and coaching
* Increase the technical performance of the maintenance teams with the establishment of develop measures, training , certifications.

▪ ensure Maintenance performance (KPI) monitoring and reporting (e.g. regarding cost, Techinicians ocupation, MTTR, MTBF, availability, Spare part Cost, TOP 5 of failures, waste, energy, OEE, etc.) in cooperation with plant controlling
▪ initiate and control measures to improve production as well as manufacturing engineering performance
- organize all documentation regarding equipment, manufacturer's recommendations, warranties, materials, diagrams, instructions for use and expiration dates of materials.

▪ prepare, review and manage the budget and forecast of maintenance / engineering cost centers
▪ ensure timely submission of financial data to controlling
▪ implement and conduct activities according to the budget established
▪ ensure that the financial goals are met

Your profile

▪University degree, preferably in production or engineering management,  mechatronic engineering, electrical engineering or related discipline.

▪ 5 or more years of professional experience in maintenance department, preferable in two functional areas, e.g. IE, manufacturing, maintenance, control  etc.
▪ cross functional experience e.g. in manufacturing, tooling, or engineering preferred.

▪ comprehensive experience in rubber and plastic production processes
▪ experience in the roll-out of standards and/or strategic projects
* PLC and automation experience and projects (desirable)
▪ 3 or more years in a leadership position, preferably in in a technical team with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals.

▪ experience in working with international teams on production topics and understanding of foreign cultures
▪ English is mandatory.
