The IT Competence Center Supply Chain Management provides solutions for the global Supply Chain Planning at Continental Tires. We drive Artificial Intelligence based projects in this area to efficiently manage the growing complexity in a volatile business environment.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Stack Developer - Data Science for development, enhancement, maintenance and roll-out of AI forecasting solutions.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Stack Developer - Data Science to work on the following tasks:

  • Development (Frontend and Backend) and roll-out of AI solutions in the area of global supply chain management (Python, Java, Dash, AWS Suite, Kubernetes, Airflow, Github Actions);
  • Further developing solutions with respect to better performance, cost efficiency and end-to-end supply chain process fit;
  • IT service for AI solutions;
  • Analyze requirements and problems and develop solutions.

Your profile

  • University degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field;
  • Programming skills in object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java, R) and CI/CD (GitHub, Jenkins) - 2 years of experience (min.);
  • Experience with Python or Java including frontend development;
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Docker, Github Actions);
  • Experience with cloud-storage solutions (preferably AWS);
  • Experience with machine learning packages like Polar, Numpy or LightGBM;
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and designing ETL workflows;
  • Experience in project management of IT projects beneficial, ideally with Agile/Scrum;
  • Knowledge of supply chain management processes (is beneficial);
  • High degree of curiosity, willingness to experiment and interest in new technologies;
  • Proficiency in English language skills (written / verbal).
