C&D Intralogistics Engineer

Your tasks

  • Transfer knowledge to all Electricians (Craftsmen) in order to ensure best maintenance practice for controls and drives systems.
  • Support the startup of new equipment and ensure on electrical production equipment Control and Drive standards.
  • Interact with supplier to maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
  • Maintains professional and technical Control and Drive knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Train and participate to the evaluation of electricians in the area.
  • Maintain an updated Control and Drive documentation in the area (electrical plants, troubleshooting guide ,etc. …).
  • Protection, Creation of Backups and Maintenance of control system software, such as IPC's, PLC's, Drives, Communication Devices, etc.
  • Ensures a proper diagnostic of electrical problems, repair and restart of production machineries of the area of responsibility in case of breakdowns.
  • Manage Control and Drive equipment spare part in cooperation with Purchasing Department.
  • Ensures the implementation of the local Maintenance strategy (focusing on MaintainME and including SAP PM, interfaces with other departments.
  • Raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties.

Your profile

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree of Electrical Engineering , Automation Engineering or other equivalent field.
  • 2-10 years of Controls and Drives experience in the manufacturing industry, if possible in the field of conveying systems and optionally High bay storage systems / AGVs
  • Experience in machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade or installation projects
  • Has participated in Maintenance, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC programming, Step7, TIA Portal, Siemens Servo Drive, Automation Network, WinCC, Beckhoff PLC, SAP, and PM.
  • Assertiveness with international contacts through projects, colleagues, and external suppliers
  • Ability to read the electrical drawing
  • Good at communicating in English.
