Risk Management & Internal Control Specialist
Your tasks
We are looking for a highly skilled Risk Management & Internal Control Specialist to join our automotive sector team in Porto, Portugal. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for operating and enhancing our Risk Management System (RMS) and Internal Control Systems (ICS) to support our strategic objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.
As a part of our team, you will:
- Enhance and reinforce risk management frameworks and internal control mechanisms across the organization.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify gaps, evaluate potential threats, and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Perform data analysis and generate insightful reports to monitor risk and internal control effectiveness.
- Drive and participate in strategic initiatives related to governance, risk, and compliance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and enhance the GRC Tool – Corporater, serving as a key user and data analytics expert.
- Develop and facilitate training sessions to strengthen organizational awareness and compliance with risk management, internal controls, and GRC tool functionalities.
Your profile
[Basic Qualifications]
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology or a related field with a strong focus on IT background and data analytics.
- At least 3 years of experience in risk management, internal controls, or compliance within an industrial setting, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Experience in a business key user role within a multinational organization.
- Hands-on experience as a business key user in a multinational corporation, with a deep understanding of business processes and IT systems.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment techniques and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), with the ability to implement best practices.
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, KNIME, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, particularly IT-driven initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of translating complex technical information for various stakeholders.
- Fluent in English with the flexibility to travel internationally as required.
