Manufacturing Suite Engineer

Your tasks

Key interface/core member in new system introduction and work with plant LKUs to keep systems sustainability and usage, and drives continous systems improvements based on plant's needs and ideas. 


System key user:
- be the first level support for users, and primary contact person for central PO and Regional Key Users.
- create PICRs as required and follow up implementation,  participate in PICR/VI/US voting
- keep up-to-date with existing features and functionality development, and analyze their potential to add-value for the plant together with the operative responsibles, ensure that product version updates are continuously implemented.
- pre-release testing of own product, and analyses/tests potential impact on interfaced products together with the appropriate LKUs.


Continuous Improvement:
- Collect the current operational "pain points" of the plant.
- Understands the potential of "Smart Manufacturing" innovations for the plant.
- Identifies risks associated with the digitalized processes in the plant.
- lead/support continuous improvement projects/tasks about MES.


Plant LKU community coordination & support:
- Support maintain a strong value - adding network of plant LKUs;
- Back up for plant LKU when needed.             

      
Usage and Data Quality:

- Monitor current usage rates and trends.
- Review quality of data being generated by the systems and users.
- Identify root causes for lacking usage and poor data quality.
- Create a plan with MSM for improving usage and data quality and monitor progress.
System implementation:
- act as local key interface/core member of new system implementation.
- ensure sufficient training and handover of new systems to LKUs.
- support LKUs in system new function implementation.


Innovation:
- Creates solutions for weaknesses and threats but using the opportunities afforded by Smart Manufacturing (external inspiration) and the Manufacturing Suite (internal standards).
- Develops concepts for increased interfacing of plant systems in order to grow the systems' individual value.


Risk Management:
- Maintains an effective FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) together with operational departments regarding the risks posed by digitalized processes.
- Continuously works together with LKUs on mitigation measures.
- Ensures adequate pre-release testing of all critical products by LKUs.
- Ensures adequate processes for keeping up-to-date with product versions.


ESSH:

- Ensure implementation of ESH measures and maintain controls.

- Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties.
- Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards.
- Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others.

Your profile

Education / Certification:
Bachelors degree in IT, manufacturing, mechanical/electrical engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering.
                                
Professional Experience:
- 3 years of experience in production and manufacturing processes
or
- 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Suite systems
                            
Project and/or Process Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in Project Management 
- Participation in Manufacturing projects

Leadership Experience:
Negotiation experience to moderate win-win outcomes for all stakeholders. 

Intercultural/International Experience:
Networking and interactions skills, experience in international (English speaking) business preferred
