Serial Life Manager
Your tasks
- Actively participates in the transfer of the project to serial production (handover protocol, achievement of project targets).
- Leads preparatory activities for product phase-out from serial production.
- Continuous improvement of product/process (A3 problem solving) in serial production.
- Confirms the production concept based on product goals and requirements, ensuring that production processes and technologies for serial production are validated and all necessary working documentation is included.
- Coordinates project risk assessment meetings (FMEA, reverse PFMEA) and monitors project activities, defining corrective actions in case of deviations from the project plan.
- Ensures compliance with Lean concepts and robust processes.
- Manages industrialization of production lines that meet cycle time, product, and process requirements.
- Defines operational project objectives (financials, schedule, and scope) and establishes an appropriate project framework (meetings, information/knowledge sharing, documentation, archiving).
- Represents project interests in operational meetings.
- Supports project change and issue control activities, including problem-solving activities, based on feasibility considering time, cost, quality, and risk.
- Communicates specific topics with and at the customer.
- Supports and participates in internal/external audits.
- Coordinates and plans engineering changes in the project.
- Assists in building a culture of support, collaboration, and teamwork within the project.
Your profile
- University degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project/Launch Manager
- Experience in multicultural projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Fluent in English
