eXplore Tires Manufacturing Trainee

Your tasks

The eXplore Tires Manufacturing Trainee will undergo comprehensive training to develop skills and knowledge in various aspects of production management. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to different departments within the production process. The trainee will work closely with the production team to develop talents as potential successors for Management or Specialist Positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Introduction to technologies and machines in PLT/CVT Plant - department rotation, a deeper introduction to plant
  • operation, Introduction to production processes, Rubber Technologies, Material’s flow and Components.
  • 4-months shopfloor experience including shift work.
  • Manufacturing/Engineering projects within the plant
  • Working together with a personal mentor throughout the program
  • Project based training and assignments in a group, 2 individual assignments from field of R&D and central
  • Fulfil central training plan in order to gain technical knowledge, competencies and capabilities in the processes of the manufacturing environment​ and to develop an understanding of the tire business and structure
  • Manufacturing and Engineering, and 1 global business assignment (group assignment)
  • 1/2 month in one of Continental's Marketing & Sales organizations
  • Technical Training of Tire Technology, Tire Development and Tire Production.
  • Soft skill trainings: Intercultural Training, CBS Training, Teambuilding

Your profile

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Process/Engineering or Manufacturing or Science, distinctive results (above average results)
  • First working experience up to 2 years (if bachelor’s degree min. of 2 years work experience is required).
  • Internships in Manufacturing/Engineering, preferably also international ones
  • Experience through internship(s) in respective areas for 8-10 months (international internships preferred).
  • Has first experience in leading a project team.
  • At least 2 months of international internship/study abroad/working in a multicultural and international team
  • Fluent in English communication
