Material Planning - Greenfield
Your tasks
The mission of the position is to lead, plan, coordinate, implement and control all material planning activities and functions to meet production plan, operations budget and supply chain targets (e.g. maximize delivery performance, reduce cost and inventories) and to represent the plant with internal and external contacts regarding SCM Material Planning topics.
- Adheres to the stock strategy guidelines that is supplied by BA SCM and align with Plant SCM.
- Manage exceptions messages and review raw material requirements daily in MRP.
- Convert Purchase Reqs to Purchase Orders where needed.
- Analyzes raw material supply to ensure we are staying balanced with inventory.
- Responsible for monitoring of supply by ensuring confirmation on purchase orders following up on expected and late deliveries.
- Communicates with vendors to obtain product or service information, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Works closely with receiving, supply chain, finance, production and management.
- Provides good customer service to internal and external customers assisting and supports requests, needs etc.
- Expedites orders and requests as needed.
- Owns the raw material debottlenecking process and aligns with BA Procurement if not resolved, provides details for escalation.
- Communicates frequently with BA Procurement on areas of concern.
- Supports BA Procurement team members in shortage or allocations.
- Constantly and proactively evaluation of materials and single source materials for risk mitigation.
- Maintains all required paperwork in an organized and accessible way relating to purchase orders, inventories, deliveries etc.
- Supports annual physical inventory or cyclic stock taking process.
- In-charge of maintaining SAP master data related to raw materials and other materials procured by position to ensure the integrated planning model.
- Actively working towards full automation to support the Integrated Supply Chain Planning Model set by the CT Group Sector.
- Attends trainings, webinars, conference calls as needed to ensure that we are following proper process and procedures, and supporting other teams as needed.
- Supports with inventory numbers when Supply Chain Manager is unavailable.
- Continue to learn and develop knowledge oneself
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree: preferably in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, business engineering or related.
- +3 years of professional experience in various supply chain and logistics functions
- Cross-functional experience e.g. in engineering, quality, purchasing, customer service, production or CBS preferred but not required
- Good organizational skills as well as detailed oriented
- Experience in Excel for at least 4 years.

- Advanced English
