System / Function & Software Resident Engineer - Air Suspension

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Project leadership for the air suspension and development of electronic air suspension systems. The engineer will support all aspects of project development to ensure the project's success. Interaction will be with the customer and all internal members. This role will be required to sit at GM faculty in Warren at least three days a week. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive development
• Fluent in English (Speaking / Writing)
• Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills, including customer interactions
• Ability to lead the development of a project
• Strong technical knowledge and fast comprehension of technical issues
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanics, electronics, and dynamics
• Software competence and understanding of base software, Autosar structure, and application implementation. 
• Experience in technical project leadership
• Experience with vehicle dynamics, chassis, or suspension development
• Experience with Continental’s product development and release process
