Supplier Quality Management Electronics Senior Engineer – Passive Components
Your tasks
- Strive to secure “Best in Class” consistent and sustainable supplier quality performance in order to contribute to reach the Continental, Business Area, Business Unit, Category Business- and Quality targets.
- Ensure Components are introduced according to project schedule and Product Life Cycle (PLC) requirements through Robust APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process at Category level which include Component sourcing, writing of specifications, handling of Qualifications, Supplier safe launch and risk management.
- Supplier & Components Quality Management and Release: Supplier quality assurance along the complete process chain, Supplier and Technology release; drive and implement Best in Class supplier and component strategy.
- Supplier Strategy: Support Quality Category Manager with improvement programs, define and implement quality category requirements, rollout of GQA (General Quality Agreement), CQR (Category Quality Requirement), QPR (Quality Process Requirement) ...
- Manage Escalation Management, Change Management.
- Audits: Perform process audits with secure implementation and compliance to IATF16949 and VDA standards
- Reporting according to SQM Standards.
Your profile
- Fluent in English
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or related) with minimum 5 years' supplier quality management experience in the automotive industry
- Candidates with experience of handling PASSIVE components
- Good experience in quality systems, process audits and part qualification.
- Understanding of Automotive practices such as APQP/PPAP/VDA6.3/IATF16949.
- Able to lead/facilitate process improvements and suppliers' development.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and travel frequently in domestic and international environment.
