Test Engineer Intern

Your tasks

  • Develop, debug, and release test equipment for products.
  • Follow procedures on equipment procurement and implementation of engineering changes; initiate necessary improvements to support productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Work closely with R&D/HW/SW Engineering to ensure test implementations are fit for series manufacturing.
  • Ensure a detailed and realistic plan is provided according to the project schedule and on-time delivery of committed deliverables.
  • Report the project status on timing, quality, and risk to the Team Leader.
  • Ensure equipment and procedure standardization according to Tech.Net and quality standards.
  • Ensure the test plan matches the Product Test Specification and other related requirements (TCA etc.)
  • Support in customer complaints handling and analysis as needed.
  • Provide troubleshooting service to manufacturing products and test equipment if support is needed.

Your profile

  • Ongoing or completed bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics) or other related field or equivalent education required.
  • Previous working experience in manufacturing, especially electronics or semiconductors is a big advantage but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of programming, especially C/C++.
  • Practical knowledge of electronics, i.e. can read electrical schematics, interpret basic electronic circuits, etc.
  • MC Office skills.
  • Good command of English.
