FinOps Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled FinOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us optimize our financial processes and systems.

As a FinOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our Cloud usage by leveraging your expertise in business intelligence, data warehouse development and financial analytics. You will work closely with our engineering, finance and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain data solutions that support our financial strategies and objectives.

Your Tasks

• Collaborate with Autonomous Mobility (AM) developers and architects to establish FinOps data flow.
• Participate in the design of FinOps tooling.
• Implement BI, DWH, reporting solutions in AWS.
• Collaborate with AWS to adopt best practices regarding financial data collection and control.
• Work together with AM developers to establish data quality protocol.
• Create FinOps tooling operations design and protocol.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a FinOps or financial services environment.
• Experience in any cloud environment (certificates are not needed).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

• AWS experience
• DevOps experience
• Experience with agile development methods
• FinOps Certified Engineer by the FinOps Foundation.
