Salesforce Architect

Your tasks

The Salesforce Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable solutions within the Salesforce platform. The role demands a high level of technical expertise and involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the Salesforce system aligns with the business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Proposal and Design:
    • Drive overall technical design and architectural approach on early-stage, global Salesforce Sales & Service implementation.
    • Understand and scope the business requirements to deliver optimal, value-driven solutions for all stakeholders.
    • Design scalable and innovative solutions within Salesforce, considering best practices and system limitations.
    • Develop high-level architectural designs for Salesforce projects, ensuring integration with existing systems and platforms.
    • Provide expert advice on Salesforce best practices and guidance on the effective use of Salesforce features and functionalities.
  2. Code Review and Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct regular configuration, code, and security reviews to ensure high-quality.
    • standards are maintained.
    • Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices, including the use of design patterns, code refactoring, and code optimization.
    • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
    • Collaborate with the development and integration team to resolve complex technical issues during the development lifecycle.
  3. Training and Mentoring:
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
    • Facilitate training and workshops to improve team competency in Salesforce.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with Salesforce updates and new technologies, continuously enhancing the existing setup.
    • Drive innovation by evaluating and adopting new Salesforce features and technologies as appropriate.
    • Driving and delivering POCs to verify technical feasibility for complex business challenges.

    Your profile

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 7+ years related professional experience OR 14+ years related experience if no Bachelors Degree
    • Proven experience in Salesforce architecture and implementation.
    • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com platform, including its limitations and best practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Continental is able to pay relocation expenses for this position.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Certified Salesforce Architect or equivalent experience.
    • Experience with Salesforce integrations and third-party APIs.
    • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
    • Familiarity with various coding languages such as Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, etc.
