Your tasks

This position can be staffed in Lindau, Ulm or Riemerling. Your tasks will include:

  • Communication on all commercial, financial and delivery topics with assigned Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in Europe
  • Developing and maintaining superior customer relationship: Identifying customer strategies and goals, roadmap, organization and decision making processes as well as challenges and expectations
  • Opportunity Management: Identification, assessment, tracking and follow up of business opportunities for assigned OEMs
  • Communication lead with the stakeholders during Acquisition and Quote Phase and maintaining all business partner relationships
  • Defining, leading and managing all tasks related to Aquisition and Quote Processes, order intake, claim/contract negotiation within the defined targets and parameters
  • Defining and executing commercial actions based on customers strategy, market drivers, governmental regulations and Continental technology roadmap in order to achieve assigned sales targets
  • Identifying, prioritizing and facilitating technical discussions and technology demonstrations which can lead to acquisition achievements for the assigned OEMs
  • Coordination of all customer and internal processes related to Sales, including potential and current volumes planning, customer portal management, internal/customer quotation process, change requests, manufacturing capacity increases, volume planning and price planning
  • Executing and handling customer related external and internal reporting tools
  • Global coordination with colleagues in other reagions

Your profile

  • Academic degree in Engineering or Business Administration with a strong technical background or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in Sales or Project Management in a global organization
  • Experience with Automotive Industry standards, work flows and processes
  • Business fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Strong communication skills in intercultural and international environments
  • High level of dedication and independence
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
