Our Auburn Hills, MI location is seeking ADAS Simulation Test Engineer to join our team.

THE POSITION

  • Planning, implementation, and execution of test cases for the virtual verification of ADAS/AD functions and systems in open- and closed-loop simulation environments
  • Design and implementation of "early validation" test cases for function development support
  • Implementation of Python-based tools for live evaluation and post-processing of test results
  • Evaluation of test results and creation of test reports
  • Alignment on requirements, milestones and testing approach with test management and function developers
  • Ensuring traceability and test coverage of requirements
  • Maintenance and extension of existing virtual verification environments
  • Close collaboration with international project teams and cooperation with customers

Your profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, robotics or comparable
  • Experience in simulation/software engineering
  • Advanced programming skills in Python
  • Experience in setting up complex driving maneuvers in IPG CarMaker
  • High level of commitment and customer orientation
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will only sponsor internal Continental employees for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, robotics or comparable
  • 2+ years of experience in test management and requirements management
  • Knowledge of ADAS/AD functions
  • Programming skills in C/C++
  • Experience in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Proficient in spoken and written Spanish or German
