Data Scientist

As a data scientist, you will work in a global team of experts delivering Data Science products and know-how to diverse areas all over the tire business.

Core Responsibilities:

• Be integral part of projects in an area of specialization like Sales, Marketing or Manufacturing.
• Work with domain experts to understand their problems and solve them using data.
• Understand the Continental data landscape with its diverse applications and architectures.
• Continuously develop and share data science best practices across the team and the enterprise.
• Be part of an international distributed team and collaborate with team members to get the necessary support.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or similar studies.
• Knowledge of Python or R.
• Knowledge of Data Extraction from diverse sources (e.g., databases, streaming, APIs, etc.).
• Knowledge of data managing, data engineering and data visualization.
• Knowledge of methods from Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Statistics.
• Knowledge on one of the following frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch or Caffe.
• Knowledge of traditional computer vision techniques.
• Familiarity in collaboration methods and tools (e.g., Agile, Jira, Jenkins, Git)
• Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Good English language skills (written and spoken)
