Technical Sales Representative

Your tasks

To manage the customer relationship in short and long term by sustaining customer satisfaction.
Represent Continental ContiTech with the target to increase market share, sales and profitability by prospecting for new accounts and growing share with existing accounts. Act as the key interface between the customer and coordinate activities between all relevant segments / departments.
Support a OneContiTech approach into the focus market, following the strategic go-to market plan to focus on target customers and channels to increase market presence.


 - Strengthen and develop the relationship with the customer
 - customers visits to help learn who key customer decision makers are and understand needs
 - Work with Key Account managers and service segment to help promote sales of all products
 - independent customer and market responsibility
 - Quote Management (coordination & submission of RFQ to the customer, quotations follow up)
 -  Negotiation of Contracts and Orders
 - Claim & complaint management
 - Taking care of payment relevant issues
 - Contract management
 - Organize promotional activities for the customer
 - Support New Product Launch into customer base
 - Coordination of sales activities 
 - Consulting on product application and train customers on products                                         - Identify opportunities to increase Continental scope of supply (including cross divisional products)  
 - Align customer demand to corporate standards
 - Ensure close customer relation management within boundaries set by compliance
- Identify new sales opportunities & qualify leads
- Manage new sales opportunities through sales funnel process, escalating support needed to convert


 - Identification of New Opportunities
 - gaining new customers/ projects
 - Create customer Sales Plans / create customer strategy based on Segment targets/budget
 - Support Budget definition process
 - Market & Competitor analysis
 - Develop EBIT & turnover forecast of existing customers
 - Reporting of sales figures & FC


 - Participation at exhibitions
 - Product Performance feedback, including logging information into Salesforce and Conti+
 - Feedback on price trends & win-loss of orders
 - Product development
- Convey relevant market intelligence back to Business Development group

Your profile

Education Level : Bachelor Degree 

Professional Experience : Minimum 5 years experineced in areas such as Sales, Account Management in the business

Project and/or Process Experience : Uses PM structure and templates when necessary

Leadership Experience : Not necessary, however proven 'leading self' experience / autonomy needed

International / Intercultural Experience : Strong knowledge of Indonesia necessary (cultural, geographic, business)
