Material & Product Platforms

• Roll-out and manage technological platforms for raw materials, and products.
• Maintain and improve competitiveness while managing complexity.
• Drive our portfolio towards performance, carbon neutrality, and circularity.
• Execute research and establish robust testing procedures to ensure technical compliance.

Standardization

• Harmonize and simplify R&D and Innovation processes.
• Implement IT tools and data strategies for efficiency.
• Ensure technical compliance across ContiTech’s portfolio.

Sustainability

• Execute product and service strategies aligned with Continental’s sustainability ambitions, focusing on carbon neutrality and circular economy.

Digital Products

• Define and manage technological platforms for hardware and software products.
• Ensure cyber security and technical compliance.

Innovation & Business Modeling

• Foster an innovative culture to make ContiTech the first choice for material-driven solutions.
• Support R&D and Business Areas with tech scouting and innovation initiatives.

Research

• Secure long-term research direction and build strategic external collaboration networks.

• Phd in Chemistry or similar qualification
• Proven international working track record
• Extensive professional experience in Technology related business functions, preferably in rubber industry
• Private Equity working background
• Ability to translate customer and market needs into the technology landscape
• Convincing leadership skills with respected and engaging personality leading through transformations
• Business thinking with execution-oriented mindset
• Profound Change Management skills
• Business fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
• Broad communication skills
