Accounting Analyst

• Manage data integrity and preparation of financial information to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness and accessibility.
• Complete month end, quarter end and the year end close processes based on timelines set
• Provide support for general accounting
• FIRE process
• Prepare, code and record journal entries in GL
• Perform data balancing activities
• Review trial balance and reconcile / analyze all general ledger accounts
• Provide audit support specific to general accounting
• Prepare government reports / census
• Participate in ensuring team’s metrics/KPIs are met or exceeded

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience in accounting or related positions
• Meet key competencies for the job
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
• Customer communication skills
• Flexible to new ideas and ways of accomplishing tasks
• Functional knowledge of the general accounting process
• Data Entry skills - Analytical skills - Interpersonal skills
• Highly organized
•  Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work in a team environment / Collaboration with different teams
