TT Mold Lead Supervisor

The TT Mold Lead Supervisor will:
Assist the department manager in managing workforce with respect to training, manning, discipline and daily running of the Mold Services Department. Assist production and support departments in continuous improvement. Manage mold repair, modifications and transfers to meet production requirements. Identify and solve PLT Mold & Tooling problems.
- Act as the Team Leader for the PLT business unit team.
- Act as temporary Department manager in the managers’ absence.
- Responsible for organizing manning, discipline and training follow-up.
- Assist in daily trouble shooting of manufacturing process in area of responsibility.
- Administers and develops communication activities regarding Departmental activities.
- Assists with the development of instructional programs.
- Collects and interprets technical information necessary to initiate requisitions for Mold and Tooling repair.
- Follow-up with vendors and the local mold outsourcing partner to ensure on-time mold delivery.
- Determine if damaged or worn equipment should be repaired, used as is, or scrapped based on requirements of the product line and the cost of the repair.
- Coordinate timing of repairs or modifications with appropriate parties.
- Budget control.
- Ensure that the latest and correct mold information is available for new mold orders.
- Manage PLT mold transfers.
- Maintain and order all hand tooling and spare parts as needed for daily operation.
- Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.
- While performing the above duties, adhere to all safety and environmental rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Mold Services Manager.

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.

Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field
3-5 years of Supervisor Experience.
Mold experience preferred.

The starting annual salary for this role is $92,500 a year.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
