Quality Lab Technician

The Quality Technician assists in the implementation and maintenance of all quality system requirements at the plant.

• APQP print reviews, PPAP dimensional, customer concerns for measuring purposes, DV parts for measuring, capability studies customer visits, gauging, and assisting with supplier issues.
• Responsible for all types of product measuring and testing within the CMM lab and proper reporting of them
• Support and improve plant or department objectives
• Is responsible for CMM measurements for all components  
• May be required to operate various testing/inspection equipment in the Lab(s)/Final Audit
• Follows ASTM methods for testing of parts and specimens that are not a standard part of the existing testing program
• Participate in Audits
• May on occasion be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description and accept any additional leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Manager

• HS diploma/GED required
• 3+ years experience in Quality including GD&T,  use of Quality Core Tools PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Experience with Problem-solving, 8D methodologies, APQP, MSA
• Willing to become an internal auditor
• No visa sponsorship now or in the future.  No relocation provided
