Your tasks 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a Maintenance Technician 3, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Completing, then documenting, recurring preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Using O/M manuals to help ensure repairs are done correctly.
  • Knowing PLC’s, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes wearing safety-toed shoes and safety glasses.
  • This role is within a climate-controlled facility.
  • The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery and tools, with comprehensive training provided

Your profile: 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE 

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity. All basic qualifications and preferred qualification for Production Technician 2, and:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
  • Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Advanced knowledge of trouble shooting and programming of PLC’s.
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motor circuits, VFD’s, AC/DC drives\, HVAC, pipe fitting, industrial power presses, conveyors, and lifts.
  • Programming peripherals and terminals.
  • Minimum 5 years industrial experience maintaining/repairing machinery and equipment.

Pay Transparency

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 - $41.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a quarterly incentive program.

Pay rate is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
