Senior - Oracle DB & APEX Specialist

The team uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and advanced analytics to forecast customer demand and plan our global tire production. We’re ultimately focused on the customer experience and the continuous improvement of our supply chain.

In this exciting job you work on the following tasks: 

• Designing, building and implementing supply chain planning solutions with an Oracle DB backend and Oracle APEX frontends in varying scale that transforms business requirements into business value 

• Ensuring service operations along agreed service level agreements 

• Ensuring on-time completion of critical planning workflows (running 24/7) 

• Continuous improvement of solution performance and robustness  

• Conducting lessons learned and service improvement initiatives 

• Academic degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering or an equivalent qualification 

• ​​Several​ years of work experience in system operations 

• ​​Comprehensive​ knowledge of ​Linux environments, shell scripting and oracle database programming​ (PL/SQL)

• Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle APEX frontends

• Knowledge of Blue Yonder ESP / SCPO solutions beneficial

• A passion for ​complex data processing workflows and high quality​ 

• Excellent problem-solving skills 

• Intercultural sensitivity 

• Professional working proficiency in English 

• Open to travel around 10% internationally
