Product & Process Industrialization Engineer

Ihre Aufgaben

Responsible for a smooth launch of new products in serial production – working with a focus on quality, efficiency and reproducibility.  The Industrialization engineer is the owner of the roll Launch-Manager and represents the production during the development phase of new products and enforces there interests. He is always working with an focus on process and product optimization during development and serial production.

1. Product Industrialization Management & Process Industrialization Management

▪Responsible for the launch of new products in operations. Represents the production in the development project team.
▪Planning and supervising trial batches in production and during manufacturing. Ensures the required product quality during  the trial batch production. Evaluate trial batch result and provide feedback to project team.
▪ update product specific production specifications (i.e. production process characteristics and parameters) according to standards
▪ update product specific production flow chart, production control plan (in close cooperation with Quality) and work instructions (pre-series, series) according to standards provided by R&D or application engineering
▪ perform product specific testing and start-up of production process and pre-series production (e.g. ensure run@rate) and handover to production (series) according to standards
▪ update of product specific process FMEA according to local conditions and standards.
▪ support product specific customer releases (PPAP, e.g. for initial series process or after product or process changes incl. initial sample test report, etc.) according to standards (e.g. trigger matrix)

2. Product and Process Improvement

▪ identify and implement product optimization potential (e.g. raw material replacement) in running articles in alignment with central (segment, BU) product development or similar function according to standards
▪ solve proactively quality issues regarding customer complaints and reject rate (in close cooperation with Quality) according to standards 
▪ identify and implement technical production processes optimization potential regarding quality, efficiency and capability (i.e. process parameters as e.g. extruder/printing/embossing speed,  etc.) according to standards

3. Efficient increase

▪Design and optimize tools to make operator’s job easier and more efficient
▪Evaluate and implement process related new ideas and improvement proposals from operators
▪Solve process problems from technician escalated issue in workshop

4. Other

▪Cooperate with  Operation(PVC/TPO/SP Production), R&D, PM, QM, etc. to do continuous improvement project or cost saving project;
▪Work together with investment IE projects, Provide needed process parameter when we add new equipment/machine ,and make sure the purchased equipment/machine is that we really wanted one.
▪Support SDE to development new outside process resource , such as Coating outsourcing and TPO2 crosslink outsourcing

Ihr Profil

1.Bachelor degree, preferably in mechanical/manufacturing engineering, chemistry or related discipline

2.More than 3 years working experience in production or process engineering

3. Experience in auto industry  or plastics industry preferred,Advanced process control knowledge (SPC, FMEA, Control Plan)

4.Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques

5.Lean production/CBS principles, methods and tools (e.g. production management system) 

6. Fluent in English
