PLT QA Tech II - OE Recovery Tech

The PLT QA Tech II - OE Recovery Tech will:

This position will involve breaking down OE downstream pallets to verify that each tire on the pallet is actually a downstream or spare tire.

1.  Break down OE downstream pallets to verify they are palletized correctly.

         A. Return potential OE grade tires to final finish department for reprocessing.

         B.  Keep an accurate count of reason each tire is downgraded.

         C.  Provide quick and accurate feedback to the production area concerning problem sizes.

2. QA Technician will follow all plant rules, and will follow  departmental safety policies, environmental policies, and chemical handling procedures , including being familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS)

3. QA Technician will follow standard practice for this specific job and perform all work necessary to obtain quality production.

4. Perform other duties as directed by the QA Supervisor, Chief Inspector or QA Manager.

Basic Qualifications

High School or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

AAS degree.

The starting annual salary for this role is $53,000 a year.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
