Material Platform Developer (m/f/diverse) - Reinforcements (Steel)

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Development of new innovative reinforcement materials, material platforms and innovative technologies for ContiTech Industry products, with focus on steel cords
  • Introduction of new materials to manufacturing plants, driving sustainability & innovation, cost & quality improvements, along with material consolidation
  • Support the serial introduction phase of new products, including prototyping, processing and specification setting, together with relevant departments and functions
  • Management and evaluation of lab tests in the development phase
  • Identify and implement optimization potentials (sustainability, costs, quality)
  • Central contact for the area of responsibility for ContiTech worldwide
  • Drive activities to improve and standardize procedures as a part of a lean and agile organization
  • Work together with other R&D functions (Research, Process Development, Product Development, Testing), Operations and Business Areas
  • Provide technical expertise, drive knowledge sharing, and support project teams in problem-solving

Ihr Profil

  • Academic degree in Textile Ingineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar qualification
  • Solid background in development of reinforcement materials with focus on steel cords; including testing and data analysis
  • Strong analytical skills - problem solving, decision making, data classification, examination of correlations, etc.
  • Strong customer-oriented thinking, ownership, and collaboration skills
  • Sense of urgency in completing projects on time and effectively
  • Intercultural fluency
  • Project management experience
  • Fluent English language skills
