Data Project Manager

In the Budapest Artificial Intelligence Development Centre of Continental, Autonomous Mobility, we create next generation automotive software solutions which make automated driving safe and affordable. We work towards Vision Zero, a goal to eliminate fatal accidents happening every day on the world’s roads. Our teams enable data driven development at scale by providing end-to-end service solutions to transfer, ingest, process and provide data for product development.

Your tasks:

• Plan and oversee large-scale data pipeline end-to-end, ensuring data availability for key collaborators.
• Represent data organization towards process partners, drive, collect and document data requirements, support budget planning.
• Support resource management strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Report of portfolio status and forecast regularly to Product Owners of data engineering teams and Managers.
• Support FinOps activities by tracking and analyzing project plans, resource and infrastructure load.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive the implementation of innovative project management practices.

• University degree (BSc, MSc)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating resources across multiple projects
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proactive mindset
• Good command of English language
• Collaborative, open-minded, team player attitude

Nice to have:

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification
