Training Supervisior

Ihre Aufgaben

Training Supervisor is responsible for Shop Floor Training and Qualification process for variable employees including training documentation and process. Assesses training needs in production; reviews and evaluates training methods and procedures to ensure timely delivery of quality training programs.

The position is part of a matrix organization including direct personnel (trainers) as well as a diverse group of internal stakeholders.

Collaborates with Labor Trainers, Plant Management (i.e., Production Manager, Area Managers, HR Manager, IE Manager, etc.) to plan, develop and implement training activities for the Clinton Plant. Ensures qualification procedure is followed and provide support with identifying shopfloor qualification gaps and providing training solutions. Leverage Manufacturing Manual

Act as the Team Leader for the training group.  Insures maintenance of  departmental work instructions and procedures, qualification, and  training records, etc.  Audits personnel performance, systems and procedures and ensures corrective actions where deficiencies are identified.  Manage, Communicate and Review Performance of Direct Reports.  Talent Management and Employee Retention.

Ensures  compliance to all mandatory requirements including Safety, Environmental, ISO, Quality, Plant policy, Corporate policy, etc. 

Leading and coordinating Creating training plan activities for all hourly employees.

Organizing training process including Theoretical and practical training

Leading Qualification and  re-qualification process

Lead Talent Management @ Shopfloor

Identify training needs and provide tailored solutions based on department manager needs.

Keep track of training budget and expense

Leading and coaching trainers.

Ihr Profil

Bachelor's Degree, +5 years experience

Certified Professional in training management is a plus.

5+ years experience in manufacturing or relevant area.

Experience in leading teams,

Good knowledge of learning theories and training methodologies.

Good  interpersonal and communication skills.

Passion for teaching, coaching people, and public speaking.

Strong teamwork abilities.

Experience supporting corporate initiatives

Experience leading a project team

Working knowledge of training, qualification, and performance management systems

Leadership experience in manufacturing or HR  or experience of leading project teams is required

Experience in global organization relying on multicultural workforce
