Product Development Engineer - Hot Retread

Become a lead in Hot Retread product development and help us drive our success in one of the most progressive areas of sustainability. Your ideas can directly reduce tire waste and support the growth of the circular economy. You’ll have the chance to shape the future Continental Retread products and bring new technologies in retreading.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing new Hot Retread products for commercial truck/bus customers, mainly for EMEA market.
- Industrializing new and transferred products and validating new technologies in the plants.
- Optimizing products based on market feedback.
- Transferring products between Continental plants.
- Cooperating with marketing, customer service, production, logistics, and R&D to ensure smooth production start-ups.
- Maintaining and developing the plant toolbox with an optimal balance of quality, complexity, and cost in cooperation with PI and QM.
- Supporting technological development of retread.
Váš profil
- University degree in a technical field
- Ability to work comfortably in an English-speaking environment
- Any background in tire development or simulation is a big plus
- Strong communication skills, ability to stay organized even when things get complex
- Project management capabilities
Co nabízíme
Initial salary (depends on experience and skills of the candidate):
Freshly graduate: 2050€ + variable part.
Experienced candidate: 2300 + variable part.
Target salary: T11.
Salary increase within the knowledge and experience gained up to 3 000€ gross/monthly and more.
