Powerhouse Technician

The Powerhouse Technician will:

Operating, maintaining and repairing all assigned Powerhouse equipment in a safe manner and in conjunction with equipment manufacturer’s specifications and production needs.

Operation, maintenance, and mechanical/electrical repairs for all Powerhouse systems and equipment including, but not limited to:

Boilers, boiler controls
Centrifugal, reciprocating, and screw type air compressors, compressor controls, compressor sequencing and monitor program, compress air flow controllers.
Vertical flow and cross flow cooling towers
Chillers, chiller controls
Horizontal split case pumps, vertical turbine pumps, vertical inline pumps
Pro-sonic level controllers, mechanical seals, packing
Variable frequency drives
Various types of check valves, rising stem gate valves, ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves
Electric and pneumatic actuators, steel piping, stainless steel tubing and piping, PVC tubing and piping, electrical testing equipment, electrical wiring
Desiccant type air dryers, air dryer controls programming
Motor alignment, impeller height adjustment
Deaerator, diaphragm pumps
Chart recorders
Water testing methods and practices
Fork truck, vertical and articulating lifts, deck cranes
Hand, corded and cordless power tools, welding, fabrication, machining
Accurate manual data and event logging and record keeping
Perform other miscellaneous housekeeping duties as directed
Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
5 years related experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree

ENVIRONMENT

Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends.
The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
The role involves various physical tasks, including walk long distance, climb step and ladders, stoop/bend, work in a high heat, dusty environment, medium to heavy lifting

The starting annual salary for this role is $63,300-$81,000 a year.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
