DfM and Lean Manufacturing Specialist

>       Perform as frontloading Design for Manufacturing Workshops with cross-functional Team (R&D, Production, IE, and production plant)

>       Define and evaluate product design standards with R&D, and harmonize for feasibility of Manufacturing

>       Reduction of product, environment and machine cost drivers.

>       Improve efficiency of Machining, Surface Treatment, Molding and Assembly Processes

>       Support and moderate Lean Check Workshops incl. Card Board Simulation with e.g. IE, Production, SCM, equipment supplier and production plant

>       Further development of Lean Check standard on automotive level (HBS representative);

>       Develop and provide training of Lean Manufacturing & Lean Check;

>      Evaluate manufacturing concepts regarding Lean approach

>      Review, evaluate and control the supplier and internal project teams during equipment design.

>      Manage, develop, train and establish the standards and process flows in HBS;

>       Strong cooperation with R&D and communication to TOP-Management as well Interface to global functions

>       University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering;

>       English - advanced level, German – advantage;

>       Global experience within global teams for representing strategic concepts

>       Experience with equipment design, deep understanding and experience for manufacturing processes (molding, machining, surface treatment, automation, assembly);

>       Preferable mechanical machine designer knowledge

>       Deep knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Lean Manufacturing

>       Experience with Design for SixSigma, FMEA and REFA;

>       Project management skills;

>       Leading and communication skills.
