eXplore Tires Engineering Trainee

The eXplore Tires Engineering Trainee will undergo comprehensive training to develop skills and knowledge in various aspects of engineering management. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to different departments within the production process. The trainee will work closely with the MTE team to develop talents as potential successors for Management or Specialist Positions.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Introduction to technologies and machines in PLT/CVT Plant - department rotation, a deeper introduction to plant operation
• Introduction to production processes, Rubber Technologies, Material’s flow and Components in order to gain in-depth operational knowledge about the Tire production process  
• 4 month shopfloor experience including shift work
• Manufacturing/Engineering projects within the plant
• Central projects (Manufacturing/Engineering, R&D, business perspective)
• Fulfil central training plan in order to gain technical knowledge, competencies and capabilities in the processes of the manufacturing environment​ and to develop an understanding of the tire business and structure
• Establish and maintain a network with the central departments and international trainees
• Soft skill training: Intercultural Training, CBS Training, Teambuilding
• General overview of the overall Marketing &Sales Strategy and the tasks & responsibilities of a Marketing &Sales Department

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Industrial/Process/Engineering or Manufacturing or Science, distinctive results (above average results)
• First working experience up to 2 years (if bachelor’s degree min. of 2 years work experience is required).
• Internships in Manufacturing/Engineering, preferably also international ones
• Experience through internship(s) in respective areas for 8-10 months (international internships preferred).
• Has first experience in leading a project team.
• At least 2 months of international internship/study abroad/working in a multicultural and international team
• Fluent in English
