The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the purchasing process to attend the requirements from Commercial and Marketing area of ​​the Andean Region (Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela). Fostering process efficiency and effectiveness to assure the timely supply of products and services required in compliance of Purchasing Policies and focused on the generation of savings for the company. 
Responsible for the analysis and management of the categories assigned in order to define an appropriate strategy that would support goals achievement.

Continental Tire Andina, was established in the second half of 1955, under the name of Ecuadorian Rubber Company C.A (ERCO). The company has more than 60 years in the domestic market and is the only tire plant in Ecuador, part of the fourth largest manufacturing and marketing group worldwide, and in the Andean Region it represents the third largest supply group of tires. Today, the Continental Group in Ecuador has close to 1,100 direct employees and 5,000 indirect employees through its ERCO Tires distribution centers.
Since 2009, the year in which the integration with the German multinational Continental AG was carried out, this company invested more than 50 million dollars in the plant located in Cuenca to have new production technologies, increase production, launch new products such as radial truck tires and also permanently makes investments that ensure and increase employment, contributing positively to Ecuador and especially to its employees and families.
Continental has decided to make Ecuador its headquarters to manage operations in the Andean Region and Chile. Currently, it also exports its products to the US and Mexico.
