Hardware Engineer Team Lead

Coordinates the professional activities of the team in line with the group and business area strategy and expectations, quality standards, process requirements and the defined timeline.

The focus of the Team Leader position is the technical involvement and coordination of the team.

In your day to day job you will:

• Functional and disciplinary lead of electrical development team
• Development of EE team aligned with central strategy
• Responsible for people and competence management
• Safeguarding efficient resource usage; detailed resource planning
• Ensuring high quality electrical work products output
• Ensuring that valid development processes will be followed
• Contributing to development process and methods improvement initiatives
• Ensuring effective usage of common hardware platforms and modules in application projects
• Leading task forces to solve technical and organizational challenges
• Applying structured problem-solving methods in an effective way
• Ensuring cross-discipline and cross-location cooperation
• Ensuring efficient hardware support of acquisition projects
• Ensuring technical guidance of EE Designers and EE Architects

• University degree in electrical engineer or mechatronic engineering
• Project management experience
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
• Work experience in automotive development is a plus
• Very good leadership and communication capabilities
• Very good knowledge in digital and analog electronic design
• Very good engineering method competencies
• Good knowledge of design tools, schematic and circuit calculations, layout knowhow
• Fluent in English
