Planner Scheduler

To perform production planning for assigned production lines and customers. Work with production and material planners to ensure the proper components are available to support the production plan while maintaining minimum inventory and minimizing obsolescence.
- Create and communicate production plan by reviewing planning tables, running heuristics, scheduling PPAP and Special runs and making adjustments as required to cover customer requirements
- Develop and publish daily shipping requirements, communicate shortages, and work with production to ensure customer ship requirements are met.
- Run MRP weekly on a timely basis to ensure production plan derives appropriate component demand to the supply base to meet inventory targets ($24 million USD Inventory Level) and support customer requirements.
- Develop/publish production schedule / customer demand reports on a weekly basis.
- Conduct and lead volume review meetings to ensure the most accurate mid and long term forecast for the production plan.
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, maintain good housekeeping practices.
Prepare requested reports in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - OR 4 years of Manufacturing experience in Supply Chain
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of Manufacturing experience in Supply Chain
3 - 5 years of experience in production scheduling in a high volume repetitive manufacturing environment in the Automotive sector.
Inventory management experience
SAP R3/APO experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
